Creative Communications Agencies

Sponsoring small and medium NGOs related to the issue or in the country of interest with creativity and strategy.

Brands

Brands that feel called to support a social or environmental issue are welcome to join us. These collaborations can be financial or related to the sponsor’s products or services. Donations can be directed to specific communities selected by the brand.

Professional with Experience

Professionals, freelancers or consultants with at least three years of experience are invited to advise small and medium non-governmental entities with creativity or strategy. Given the ethical responsibility of this type of message, a minimum experience of 36 months in the creative industry is necessary. Experience with NGOs or this type of communication is not necessarily required.

Professionals with less than three years of experience, such as marketing, publicity, design and communications students are invited to join us for in-person volunteer efforts.

How do we do it?

CCS/BW has its own group of professionals to support NGOs with creativity and strategy. We also connect agencies, professionals, and brands from around the world so that they can support these organizations with their talent:

Supporting through Creativity

The vast majority of these types of non-profit entities do not have in-house marketing or creative teams, nor the budgets to hire consultants. These NGOs must choose between investing their resources in the community or in hiring design and marketing experts. This could translate into low impact communications. Imagine, for example, the impact on society of an HIV prevention campaign in Central Africa organized by communication experts.

How do

Marketing for Fundraising

Some NGOs are overlooked by large donors while others have exhausted their fundraising ideas or contacts. With more assertive marketing and strategy, these NGOs could find new avenues for financing their work. This translates into: greater revenue, greater growth, and therefore more populations, flora, and fauna, benefited.

Training NGOs in marketing and creativity

As we will not be able to support all the non-profit entities on the planet: we will train the teams in strategy and creativity. In this way, the NGOs will be able to better execute their communication campaigns. These trainings will be conducted either face-to-face or online consultancy regarding social media management, writing, creativity and basic marketing, etc.

We do not compete, nor do we seek to take work away from agencies, as we support causes with little to no financing.

How do we finance ourselves?

Our Story

CCSBW started as an initiative of the Luum Awards, a festival that awards the best purpose-driven campaigns from around the world. In addition to recognizing strategic efforts to promote a better world, Luum make an effort to reinvest the operational costs for its events in regions in-need, either through direct investments or by supporting local efforts to address social or environmental challenges. By promoting a spirit of volunteerism, Luum seeks to raise awareness within the communications industry and encourage professionals to espouse difference causes.

CCSBW is our response to a global need for more education and conscientiousness. Brands, communications agencies, social networks, and media outlets have the power to create the messages to achieve this objective and communications professionals can be change agents that can help any social or environmental initiative succeed.
